Autoresponder Unlimited

Autoresponder Unlimited runs on your web host. It's normally loaded into a special directory called 'cgi-bin'.

If you are happy enough to upload files to your regular web host, your hosting service uses Linux (Unix) based software and the wind is blowing in the right direction, then it's possible that you can install Autoresponder Unlimited. I've sold the software in the past and people seem to have mixed luck installing it.

On the plus side, the program is cheap (often as little as $5 on Ebay).

On the downside, it can lose data for no apparent reason. It's happened to me on more than one occasion. It's also happened to customers of mine, so I've stopped selling the program.

My recommendation is that you don't use Autoresponder Unlimited. The money you save by buying a cheap program will be more than outweighed by the need for religious backups of your customer database and reinstallation of lists (assuming you are organized enough to check your mailing reports to spot lost contacts).
